Two purpose-built Food Technology classrooms in the heart of the new building, located next to the Academy kitchen so students can see a working kitchen in action. During events held at the Academy students gain experience working in a catering kitchen using large scale ingredients and equipment. This is currently based on the design of a new vegetarian product. It develops knowledge in food and nutrition and planning and preparing healthy food products. Students analyse the products made in great detail including costings and nutritional analysis.
All products are designed against a specification which is used throughout to evaluate all the products made. Harry Potter.
